A couple of weeks back, Holand Leasing, which is home to our local Rolls-Royce and Maserati dealership, acquired a car collection from a gentleman in Toronto. When Johnathan and myself saw photos of the cars, we knew we just had to go take a look, and that’s exactly what we did.
It was my first time visiting, and since I arrived there before John, I started my visit by looking around the showroom. Even though they are an official Rolls-Royce dealership, their pre-owned showroom is filled with exclusive cars from every brand, including a GT3 RS and a rare Huracán Avio. When John finally arrived, we were welcomed by one of their team members who invited us upstairs for a coffee before viewing the cars.
As the elevator doors opened to their basement storage, we were greeted by an impressive lineup of vehicles ranging from a Ferrari F430 Scuderia, Lamborghinis, a slew of Land Rovers and everything in between. Finally, in the very far right corner was where the gems were parked; an orange Ferrari 365 GTB/4 “Daytona” and the iconic Lamborghini LM002. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that a Bugatti Veyron, also part of the collection, was getting detailed close by.
All three vehicles of this trio are quite rare. According to Ferrari Club historians, a total of 1406 Daytonas were produced. The second-rarest of the trio is the Veyron, with 450 cars ever made. Lastly, the rarest of the bunch: the LM002 with only 328 units ever produced.
After several minutes of admiring the lineup, it was time to capture their details with photos. I started with two classic cars. Both of them being quirky older Italian cars, detail shots were an absolute must. I then proceeded to the Veyron.
Three very different vehicles targeted for a specific type of clientele. Now, the real question remains: if you had to pick one, would you choose the iconic Veyron, the timeless Daytona or the Rambo-Lambo V12-powered LM002?
