Aston Martin DB11 | PREVIEW

Earlier this week, Aston Martin Montreal, part of the Decarie Motors dealerships, hosted a private viewing event to celebrate the launch of the brand new 2017 Aston Martin DB11. The 007 like location in Outremont at an old bank building that has been converted into an upscale art gallery made for the perfect ambiance and tone as the vehicle was parked centred in the dramatic space.

With the DB11 being the first all-new vehicle from the iconic British brand in more than ten years, this marks a new and important era for Aston Martin. The DB11 will reach 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 322km/h thanks to the power from a brand new 5.2L twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 600 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque – the first-ever turbocharged Aston Martin production vehicle. It also marks the first vehicle to be constructed since Daimler AG’s (owner of Mercedes-Benz) increased to now 5% ownership in Aston Martin. So far, the only noticeable component from Daimler AG that has made it into the DB11 is the Mercedes Central Comand System. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that is currently found in the Mercedes-AMG GT is rumoured to be put into the DB11 in the near future.

The styling of the Aston Martin DB11 is stunning and shares similar features found on the DB10 that was featured in the latest James Bond movie ‘Spectre’. Its beautiful exterior lines reflect in its gorgeous, well-appointed, interior. Instead of continuing to describe the vehicle in words, please view the images below to better embrace the beauty of the vehicle.

The first examples of the 2017 Aston Martin DB11 are expected to arrive this fall with a base price estimated to be around $255,000.
